Plan your pilgrimage for Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023 to get an inside view of the historic parish buildings and meet storytellers from the Barrier Breakers series.
Pilgrimage parishes will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will have the audio recordings available. Some may offer light refreshments.
For groups, please call ahead to the churches you'll be visiting or RSVP to join Bishop José's group.
Ideas for Pilgrimage Day:
• Mini-pilgrimage — Travel to 2–3 pilgrimage parishes around your area, with a stop included for lunch. End the day with a time of reflection at your church. This option is great for youth.
• Overnight pilgrimage — Start the pilgrimage on Saturday and stay overnight along the way. Attend service at a pilgrimage parish on Sunday. Reflect and/or discuss the stories you've heard in between stops.
• Join Bishop José's group in visiting St. Matthias, St. Gabriel's, and Good Shepherd. There are 30 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please come prepared to listen, observe, and learn. We recommend the following materials for taking part in this pilgrimage.
PHONE OR TABLET
You will need a device to access the pilgrimage. We highly recommend a device that can connect to the internet. If you do not have a device that connects, be sure to download the stories before heading on the road.
We strongly urge you to bring a writing utensil in order to take notes or write down parish contact information.
Part of participating in this pilgrimage is reflection. We recommend bringing a small notepad or paper for that purpose.
While participating in this pilgrimage, you will find yourself in public spaces. Out of courtesy and respect for others, we encourage you to listen to the reflections with headphones as you explore.
You will be using your phone or tablet quite frequently during this pilgrimage. We recommend having a phone charger on hand to ensure you can finish the pilgrimage with a full battery.
Whether it's on your phone or in your car, we recommend having a navigation device on hand to help you locate all of the sites included in the pilgrimage.
